The Talent Factory
For Students.
At the Talent Factory, students from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and Eindhoven University of Technology explore market opportunities for innovative businesses at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven and for related market players. They develop strategies and provide advice on these opportunities, working closely with clients, coaches, and graduation and internship supervisors.
For Trainees.
The Talent Factory also serves young talent who wish to pursue a traineeship after graduating at one of the companies at the HTC. It acts as an intermediary between them and potential companies seeking a trainee, providing guidance to both the prospective trainee and the company. This matchmaking process is beneficial for companies at the HTC, which typically struggle to find and attract young talent. The Talent Factory thus contributes to attracting and retaining young talent who will remain connected to the Brainport region for longer. This, in turn, allows Fontys to retain talent in the region, as it increases the likelihood that they will land their first job at the HTC after completing their traineeship.
In the long term, The Talent Factory is developing into an institution that prioritizes lifelong learning and development (LLO). Everyone learns in this concept. The educational transition within the institution is supported by subsidies and should ultimately be largely covered by reimbursements from the professional field. The value creation is therefore partially compensated and recognized and acknowledged by the market.
