Well-being course
It's a four-week, down-to-earth course, a practical introduction to positive psychology and meditation techniques. Developed by Marjolein Prenger and Ed de Bruin (affiliated with the Master's program in Positive Clinical Psychology), this course has been taught several times at various faculties/universities.
The course is partly based on research into student well-being. You'll also be asked to complete a short questionnaire before and after the course to inform this research.
After each session, a mini-lecture and additional information/exercises will be available on Canvas.
The following topics will be covered:
- Personal values and motivation;
- Well-being and all possible challenges;
- Resilience, stress, and fear of uncertainty;
- FOMO and gratitude;
- Self-compassion, connection, loneliness, and a sense of belonging.
