For all programmes conducted in English Fontys Academy of the Arts has set minimum language requirements. To prove that you meet these requirements you will be asked to send one of the English language certificates.
Would you like to start with Dance Arts in Context and you don't have the right diploma, but you are 17 years or older? Then you can take a 21+ assessment test. This will allow us to see if you can still start this programme.
For this programme you must first audition.
You apply for the audition for just one profile, contemporary or contemporary urban. So please make a choice before applying.
The audition deadline for the 2026-2027 academic year is February 23, 2026. From October 1, 2026, you can register for the 2026-2027 academic year.
To take part in the audition you first have to apply via the online portal www.studielink.nl, where you can submit and manage your application. Requirements differ for EU and Non-EU students.
The preselection takes place online. You have to upload material to your personal file. After the preselection, only selected candidates will advance to the live audition.
If you are selected, you attend the live audition. The live audition for the 2026-2027 study year will take place in 3 rounds from April 20 to April 23. It is not possible to audition on another date nor is it possible to do this audition online.
A medical test is also part of the audition process.
You receive the results of the audition very quickly, so you won't have to wait in suspense for longer than necessary.
