Fontys Purple introduction week

An introduction week for all new Fontts students, whether you are starting a bachelor's degree, master's degree or associate degree.
During Purple, you will meet lots of new people. You will get to know your fellow students, your study programme, the city where you will study and, of course, Fontys.
Just like every year, we will maken it a great and fun week!
Good to know: The Purple Team organises activities during the introduction week in Eindhoven, Tilburg, Venlo, Den Bosch and Sittard.
What is Purple?
Purple is the introduction week of Fontys University of Applied Sciences. During this week, we welcome our new students.
At Fontys, we think sustainability and a healthy lifestyle are important. We want you to do more than just get your degree. We also want you to take good care of yourself. We believe it is important to study in a nice and sustainable environment.
We also focus on these topics during Purple. We organise activities that are good for the environment and work with partners who share our goals.
For example, we work with 'Alcoholwijs'. This is a Fontys project that helps students make smart and responsible choices about alcohol.
We also work with the mobility projectgroup. Fontys wants to be easy to reach. That is why we encourage students and staff to travel by bike or public transport. Together, we can make healthy and sustainable choices.

Social safety
At Fontys, we believe it is important that everyone feels safe. This applies not only at school, but also during all activities and events organised by Fontys.
There is no place at Fontys for aggression, (sexual) harassment, bullying, discrimination, coercion or threats.
