In the first year, you'll build a broad knowledge of marketing, business, finance, and logistics. After your first year you can choose your own field of study.

The starting salary of a logistics engineer ranges from €2,574 to €3,404 gross per month. After 10 years, this can increase to €3,652 to €5,258 gross per month.
The Logistics Engineering programme focuses on dealing with the vast amount of data that needs to be investigated. Using efficient solutions through smart process design, operations optimisation and data analytics. The Logistics Management programme centers on management theory and monitoring performance within supply chains. Students focus on both operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
After graduating from the Logistics Engineering study programme you can start working in a logistics company. Since every sector relies on logistics, there are a lot of possibilities. You can work as a logistics engineer, logistics advisor, operations manager or supply chain manager.
In year 3 it is possible to do an internship abroad and/or follow a minor abroad. This gives you a chance to gain international experience. Fontys collaborates with 125 partner universities and companies in the region and abroad.
Applied science universities are more focused on practice and are strongly career-oriented. Technical universities are more theoretical with focus on research and innovation. If you prefer to learn things by doing, applied university is a way to go.
