Health testing and monitoring

The Biodex is recognised worldwide as the gold standard for the objective measurement of muscle strength. The Biodex is capable of measuring muscle strength in both isokinetic and isometric conditions across almost all joints. The Biodex can be used as a measurement tool in scientific research, during the rehabilitation of (elite) athletes, and for training purposes.

During this consultation, you, as a client, will be tested on the Biodex. The student plays an active role in this process and learns how to use the Biodex and interpret the results.

Movement analyses are being carried out with increasing frequency in the field. In this sports consultation session, we will be analysing sport-specific movements. It ties in nicely with the drop-in consultation sessions. Students are introduced to movement analysis in an accessible way.

This consultation session is intended for athletes with movement-related concerns, as well as for both injured and uninjured athletes.
