In Logistics Management, the focus is on the management side of logistics, from production and warehousing to transport and supply chains. As a full-time logistics manager, you typically earn between €2,371 and €2,683 gross per month. After 5 years, this increases to approximately €3,824 gross per month.
The Logistics Management programme centers on management theory and monitoring performance within supply chains. Students focus on both operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. The Logistics Engineering programme focuses on dealing with the vast amount of data that needs to be investigated. Using efficient solutions through smart process design, operations optimisation and data analytics.
After graduating from the Logistics Management study programme you can start working in a logistics company. Since every sector relies on logistics, there are a lot of possibilities. You can work as a supply chain manager, consultant, warehouse manager, inbound operator or distribution planner.
In year 3 it is possible to do an internship abroad and/or follow a minor abroad. This gives you a chance to gain international experience. Fontys collaborates with 125 partner universities and companies in the region and abroad.
Applied science universities are more focused on practice and are strongly career-oriented. Technical universities are more theoretical with focus on research and innovation. If you prefer to learn things by doing, applied university is a way to go.
