Physics is incredibly versatile! You dive into topics like optics, mechanics, mathematics, thermodynamics, atomic and nuclear physics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and thermodynamics. You’ll learn about how the world works, from the tiniest particles to the largest galaxies.
A broad foundation in mathematics, physics, (measurement) technology, and programming.

In Applied Physics, we not only focus on theory but also make physical solutions practically feasible. This is, for example, achieved by developing sensors, (automated) measurement systems, and accompanying computer programs. In this way, we create an essential bridge from theory to practice.
With a degree in Applied Physics, you have various career options. You can work as a Researcher in a company or laboratory, or develop and test technical solutions as a Product Developer. Another opportunity is to enhance and make industrial processes more sustainable as a Process Optimization Consultant.
Mathematics is the language of physics. Without strong mathematical skills, it’s challenging to grasp physical concepts fully. While essential, our program isn’t solely about math; we see it as a supportive tool. As a physicist, having mathematical skills are vital to your toolkit.
