Vision
Fontys Academy of the Arts is an University of Applies Sciences with four concepts: Imagination, Connection, Resilience and Responsibility.
We train creative makers, performers, designers, educators, and researchers whose work makes an impact on the world around them.
Students not only develop their artistic craftsmanship but also their own voice and compass as creative professionals. They learn to use their discipline as a language: to express what matters, to collaborate, and to give meaning to the world in which we live.
Our academy is a vibrant community of thinkers and doers. We connect art, education, research, technology, society, and nature. In this way, we are building a future in which art contributes to a regenerative, just, and resilient world.
We believe in the power of art to inspire, move, stimulate, and drive change. That is why we work closely with our community, from Tilburg to national and international partners.

Fontys Arts Events
We organize a wide variety of projects and events. In doing so, we collaborate with students from various arts programmes. The combination of different programmes in a single project or event is what makes Fontys Academy of the Arts so unique.
