Studying in Tilburg

Tilburg is a vibrant city, and with some 30.000 students, there’s always something to do.
The city places great value on art and culture, which is why you’ll find Fontys Academy of the Arts right in the heart of downtown.

If you study here, you’ll quickly connect with arts and culture organizations from the Netherlands and abroad. Our students name our own Muzentuin, the Spoorpark, the Moerenburg, and the Loonse and Drunense Duinen as their favorite spots to hang out.
For coffee or a party, they like to head to the Piushaven, Spoorzone, Korte Heuvel, or the Stadhuisstraatje.

They prefer to study at the LocHal (one of the most beautiful libraries in the world) or at Boove and Benee in the Schouwburg Concert Hall Tilburg, where you can also find a great part-time job!

Tilburg has top-notch museums and venues, including De Pont, the Textile Museum, Poppodium 013, Paradox, the Nieuwe Vorst, and Kunstpodium T.
Many of these places collaborate with our programmes.
