Student experiences

Erdinç

Lecturer and researcher. Expert in inclusive AI and generative AI.

"This master’s programme goes far beyond learning how AI tools work. Students learn how to apply AI responsibly in real organisations and involve people in that process.

Its strength lies in combining technology, communication and change management. Students work on real life challenges with real societal impact.

I highly recommend this programme to students who want to move beyond writing prompts and truly bridge the gap between technology and people".

Tim

Lecturer in AI & Ethics

“Artificial Intelligence is transforming every industry, but technology alone is not enough. In my classes, students learn how to combine AI, ethics, governance, philosophy and business strategy to create solutions that are both innovative and responsible. We explore topics such as trustworthy AI, legislation, and Value-Sensitive Design, always linked to real-world challenges.

I encourage students to think critically about the impact of AI on organisations and society. They discover that successful AI projects involve balancing opportunities, risks, stakeholder interests, and ethical considerations. Using practical frameworks and case studies, students learn how to make informed decisions in complex situations where there is rarely one perfect answer.

This programme attracts internationally minded students who are curious, analytical, and open to different perspectives. It is ideal for future professionals who want to lead AI initiatives and connect technology with people, strategy, and organisational change.

What I value most is helping students develop the confidence to shape AI in a way that creates genuine value for society.”

Chris

Lecturer

"The world already faces enough complex societal challenges, yet AI is often presented as if it can solve everything automatically. In reality, the situation is far more nuanced. While AI creates exciting opportunities, it also raises important questions around human behaviour, ethics, legislation and decision-making. That is exactly why organisations need professionals who not only understand technology, but can also think critically about its wider impact.

What makes the Master AI Translator so valuable is its combination of technology, professional practice and social responsibility. Students learn not only what AI is technically capable of, but also how to apply it responsibly and realistically within organisations and society.

This programme does not educate narrowly focused technical specialists. Instead, it prepares professionals who can move confidently between theory and practice, innovation and regulation, and technological possibilities and human interests. That makes the Master highly relevant for organisations aiming to implement AI in a careful and future-focused way.

The Master AI Translator is therefore not a hype-driven degree, but a programme that responds to a lasting need: professionals who can translate technological developments into practical, trustworthy and people-centred solutions".
