    2. Other required materials


    2.1. Complete lab kit

    A complete lab kit can be purchased at school via PIN transaction. Alternatively, you may purchase the individual components separately. The components are listed below.

    The following individual components may also be purchased separately:

    • Weighing boat - Glazed, porcelain
    • Spatula - Stainless steel
    • Weighing spoon/spatula - corrosion-resistant
    • Pipette bulb - Universal rubber pipette bulb
    • Tweezers - Stainless steel, pointed tip
    • Scissors - Stainless steel, chemically resistant
    • Magnetic stirring bar - PTFE-coated, smooth surface, rounded, high chemical resistance, temp. range -200°C to +280°C

    You will also need a plastic container with a smooth, easy-to-clean surface to store the lab kit (dust-free for hygienic reasons).

    2.2. Lab coat

    • White, long model (knee-length) with long sleeves
    • Fabric: 65% polyester / 35% cotton
    • OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified; fabric weight: 215 g/m²

    • Suitable for boiling wash 95 °C


      2.3. Additional items

      • Permanent marker: Staedtler OHP Lumocolor F318, black, fine
      • Safety goggles, brand: bandido (Mandatory for non-prescription wearers)
