I have always dreamed of studying abroad, and the Double Degree programme helped me make that dream real. During my studies in Indonesia, Fontys stood out because of its practical, hands on approach. I prefer learning by doing, so the this programme felt like the perfect match.

Moving to the Netherlands was exciting but also challenging. I arrived in August, nervous about a new culture and a very different education system. The biggest change was the freedom. At home, I was used to waiting for instructions. Here, you must take initiative — otherwise nothing happens. It took time to adjust, but friendly students and supportive mentors helped me understand the Fontys way of learning, where progress and personal growth matter just as much as results.

Now, in my final semester, I can see how transformative these months have been. I have become more independent, responsible, and confident in an international environment. This programme didn’t just strengthen my technical skills — it prepared me for the professional world with the mindset to face whatever comes next.
