Dragons' Den
Dragons' Den
Who will be crowned the Best Venture of February 2026?
After months of building, testing, pitching, and entrepreneurship, it's time for the grand finale!
On 2 July, the best ventures from the Minor Entrepreneurship will compete during the Dragons' Den for the coveted title:
🏆 Best Venture February 2026
During this afternoon, selected teams will present their venture to a professional jury of entrepreneurs. The jury will evaluate the pitches, ask critical questions, and ultimately decide on the winner.
But there's a twist...
Until the Dragons' Den begins, no one knows which teams will actually get the opportunity to tell their story. Students have to be ready to pitch, because every team still has a chance to take the stage!

What is Dragons' Den?
Students on the Entrepreneurship Minor have been working hard on their own businesses over the past six months. During Dragons' Den, they will pitch their ideas one last time to a panel of entrepreneurs and industry experts.
The Dragons' Den is the official closing event of the Minor Entrepreneurship and attendance is mandatory for all students, to support fellow entrepreneurs and celebrate six months of hard work and achievement together.
The event is open to everyone. Friends, family members, fellow students, and entrepreneurs are invited to attend the pitches, the award ceremony, and the closing networking drink.
This is the moment to showcase everything that has been built, learned, and achieved within the Minor Entrepreneurship.
Make sure you're there and save the date: July 2!
About the minor
What does entrepreneurship actually involve? What does it ask of you as a person, not just as a strategist? In the Minor Entrepreneurship, you find out. Not in theory, but by doing it for real.
You work on a real idea or an existing venture. You look for customers, test your concept and pitch to entrepreneurs and investors. Coaches who have built their own businesses guide you throughout the process.
The minor consists of two tracks that run in parallel and carry equal weight: you work on developing your venture (Business Development) and on your own growth as an entrepreneur (Entrepreneurial Professional). That personal track, gaining insight into your own strengths, learning how to bring people on board, and understanding how you work as an entrepreneur, is just as valuable as the business knowledge you build.
As an international student, you bring your own perspective and network. In this variant, we pay particular attention to entrepreneurship in the Dutch and Eindhoven contexts: the Brainport ecosystem, Dutch startup culture, and navigating a new business environment.
