Over the course of a year, this multidisciplinary programme brings together a diverse group of artists from across the globe, all eager to explore the role of art in society and to engage with contemporary issues.
The master challenges you to artistically experiment and create new possible perspectives.
Develop your art practice through multidisciplinary and international collaboration.
This means that the programme combines continuous online and intensive on-site education. Intensive weeks are hosted on-site in Tilburg, the Netherlands. Continuous one-on-one coaching will guide and enrich the development of your individual research project.
You acquire the skills needed to conduct artistic research together with artist from other disciplines.
You develop well-grounded artistic strategies.
You gain a stronger awareness of and position in the sociopolitical context.
One year of one-on-one coaching, self-study, collective online sessions and a total of 6 intensive weeks on-site in Tilburg. During the intensive weeks you will form a group and be exposed to new artistic practices and co-creational activities.
Graduates of Master Performing Public Space can undertake various roles within the context of public space and can successfully integrate them into their future professional practice.
