A Master’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences (UAS) is just as valid as one from a Research University (RU). You earn the exact same qualification: a Master’s degree at level 7 EQF (European Qualifications Framework).
Every master’s programme, whether at a UAS or a RU level, includes a research component. The research at a UAS is based on a practical question. You conduct research into a real-world issue and learn skills that you can apply straight away. The research in a RU master’s programme is based on an academic question and is therefore theoretical in nature.
You will strengthen your leadership, strategic thinking and management skills. Many graduates move into management positions, lead larger teams or take the next step in their careers after completing the programme.
