Masterclasses

During the school year there will be several masterclasses. Sometimes with a focus on a specific main subject, but there are also masterclasses for the entire department in which we also collaborate with the classical department and Rockacademie.

Over the last couple of years Conservatorium Tilburg has hosted masterclasses by Sullivan Fortner, Gilad Hekselman, Mark Guiliana, Nana Rashid, Ella Zirina, Amina Figarova, Darius Brubeck, Or Baraket, Harmen Fraanje, Oz Noy, Sanne Rambags, and many more.

Every year the jazz department organizes a special Project Week with a focus on several topics, guest teachers, and field trips.

Also the members from the renowned Paradox Jazz Orchestra are involved in masterclasses for rhythm section and horn section playing, as well as arranging.
