Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

About: accounts and logging in

This may mean that you are listed twice in the Fontys contact database by mistake. Please inform your Fontys contact person so they can merge your accounts.

After creating your account, you still need to confirm your email address. You will receive an email from ‘noreply@identity.xebic.com’. The email may have gone to your Junk or Spam folder, so please check there as well.

When creating your account, you will be asked to add the organisation you work for. Enter your postcode and house number. OnStage 4 Business will then check the database of the Chamber of Commerce and/or Stagemarkt (if your organisation is also active in vocational education).

You can select your organisation from the list of suggestions.

Please note: If many organisations are registered at the same postcode, you may not see all suggestions at first. Click ‘Show more’ to view all suggestions.

This means that your organisation is already in the Fontys database. If you know who within your organisation already works with OnStage 4 Business, you can contact them to ask if they can give you access. If not, please contact your Fontys contact person. They can arrange for you to receive an invitation email to create an OnStage 4 Business account.

About: posting and managing assignments

This may be because you do not have the correct role in the system. To submit an assignment, you need the role ‘Coordinator’ and/or ‘Authorised to sign’. If you can only view assignments, you may only have the role ‘Company supervisor’. If possible, contact your colleague(s) who can give you the correct role in OnStage 4 Business. Otherwise, contact your Fontys contact person so they can arrange the correct role for you.

When you submit an assignment, it is sent to the selected category. The relevant Fontys programme(s) must then approve or reject the assignment. After approval, the status changes to ‘Available’. From that moment, the assignment is visible to students within that category. Please note: As long as the programme has not yet reviewed the assignment, the status will remain ‘Submitted’.

When you submit an assignment, it is first sent to the selected category (status ‘Submitted’). The relevant Fontys programme(s) will then approve or reject it. If the assignment is rejected, the status changes to ‘Inactive’. In the ‘Assignments’ screen in OnStage 4 Business, you can use the filter options to show inactive assignments. You can then edit the assignment and submit it again if needed. Your Fontys contact person will inform you (or your colleagues) about the reason for rejection. If you have not received a message, please contact them yourself.
