Technical programmes

At Fontys Technology, you will find a wide range of technical programmes and courses. Whether you are just finishing school or already working and looking to further develop your skills, there is always a learning pathway that suits you.

You can choose from technical bachelor’s programmes, associate degrees, master’s programmes and courses. All programmes are practice-oriented and closely connected to current challenges in the professional field. You learn by doing and work together with companies and partners.

Facilities and learning environment

At Fontys Technology, you learn and work in an environment where technology takes centre stage. Students and researchers use modern teaching labs, workshops and testing facilities where theory and practice come together. This is where ideas are designed, built, tested and improved.

Alongside our technical facilities, we offer an active learning environment with study associations, student teams and additional programmes for talent development. This gives students the space to deepen their knowledge, work together and apply their technical skills in practice.

Research & innovation

At Fontys Technology, we carry out practice-oriented research in close collaboration between students, researchers and companies. We always start with a concrete technological challenge from practice. Together, we explore what is really needed, investigate possible solutions and develop a demonstrator to show that the technology works in a real-world setting.

Research, education and practice are closely connected. Students work on real challenges, researchers test and validate technology, and companies benefit from applicable knowledge and solutions.

A significant part of this research is brought together within the Centre of Expertise High Tech Systems & Materials (CoE HTSM), where research groups, students and partners collaborate on technological innovation. In addition, researchers from Fontys Technology also contribute to research within other Centres of Expertise across Fontys Hogescholen.

Working with Fontys Technology

Fontys Technology collaborates with companies in education, research and innovation. From internships and projects to guest lectures, company visits and joint research activities. Together, we equip students with practice-oriented knowledge and strengthen technological innovation in the region.

Locations

Fontys Technology provides education and conducts research at several locations. Our main education and research activities take place in the Nexus building in Eindhoven, where students, researchers and partners come together.

In addition, our students can also be found at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven, the Automotive Campus in Helmond, and in Tilburg.
