You're actively building, creating, and solving real problems from day one, which has prepared me incredibly well for my career in tech.

Student Fontys ICT from Spain

Since starting my ICT studies here, I've been amazed by the completely different approach to learning. Unlike anything I experienced back home in Spain, there's an incredible variety within the ICT field while giving you the freedom to focus on what genuinely interests you. I also tried a new learning approach called Open Learning for two semesters and loved the hands-on experience – working on real-world projects in small teams using agile methodologies, just like in the industry.

The opportunities here are also pretty good, if you look for them. I landed a part-time job at a startup through the university's own startup accelerator program in just my second semester – something that seemed impossible before coming here. What sets this place apart for me is the independent, project-based learning environment where you won't find traditional lectures followed by exams. Instead, you're actively building, creating, and solving real problems from day one, which has prepared me incredibly well for my career in tech.
