| Visa requirements | Visa Requirement for Korea Exchange Students Students going to Korea for an exchange (minor) must apply for a D-2-6 student visa. To obtain this visa, you need to show proof of sufficient financial resources: • Approx. 10,000,000 KRW (± €7,000) for one semester • Approx. 20,000,000 KRW (± €14,000) for a full year Accepted proofs: • Bank statement with blocked funds • Scholarship certificate (covering the required amount) This requirement is set by the Korean Ministry of Justice and applies to all universities in Korea. Students who cannot provide this proof cannot proceed with the exchange. |
