The Global Lounge; bringing an International community together
The Global lounge is an integral part of the Fontys, campus Venlo and is an area where cultural diversity on campus is celebrated. Its prime location in W3, just under the bridge enables us to connect as an international campus and offers a place where the wealth of international experience and knowledge on campus can be shared. This sharing of knowledge and experience is facilitated in numerous staff and student led activities focusing on the exchange of cultural experiences. Whether it be a Minor Study abroad or teaching exchange information session, a food tasting event or workshop, the Global lounge is the venue to celebrate and promote internationalisation at Fontys, campus Venlo.
- Would you like to carry out an event at the Global lounge? Would you like to share the culture of your home country with us? You can carry out a food tasting event, present your home university to us or maybe offer a language or craft workshop.
- Have you been on a teaching exchange and would like to share your experience? Would you like to invite students to a lecture with a cultural or international focus? Have you international experiences you would like to share?
