F.A. (Frans) Mouws
Frans Mouws began his studies at the Maritime Academy in Vlissingen with the course Port and Transport Technology. Subsequently, he transferred to Eindhoven University of Technology to study business computer science. After his studies, he worked at companies such as Akzo Nobel and ING, as well as at government organizations such as the Municipality of Helmond. His work at Fontys started at the IT and Education & Research departments, before moving on to become a project leader and lecturer at the ICT institute. As project leader, his responsibilities included the Fontys-wide EdTech project investigating educational innovation with ICT. For this, experiments were conducted at twenty institutes in collaboration with InHolland, UU and Surf.
As internship supervisor and stakeholder, Frans participates in a number of research and projects, including the SDC (Self Drive Challenge) of the RDW, BOOST - developing and setting up student teams within Fontys and a project in collaboration with Tomra to simplify the collection of deposit cans.
Frans is also project leader within the Action Line Growth, which aims to increase the inflow and outflow of students in the coming years.
