Frequently asked questions

Applied science universities are more focused on practice and are strongly career-oriented. Technical universities are more theoretical with focus on research and innovation. If you prefer to learn things by doing, applied university is a way to go.

Some programming knowledge is a plus but not a requirement. Most of the students come here to learn and have no prior experience with development.

Math is not required. It is needed only when you are interested in the programme Accelerated ICT & Software Engineering. In our Business, Infrastructure and Media tracks there is no math at all, besides some basic statistics. Our Technology track has math but it is taught in the major itself.
