L. (Luuk) Derkx
Luuk Derkx obtained his Bachelor's degree in ICT at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven and continued his academic career with a Master of Science in Cognitive Artificial Intelligence at Utrecht University.
In his work, he has specialized in front-end development and user interaction. Since 2015, he has been working as an ICT lecturer at Fontys ICT, covering the entire spectrum of the program, and since 2024, he has also been a researcher at the Fontys High Tech Embedded Systems research group at the Big Chemistry Robotlab.
Based on his expertise and interests, Luuk focuses primarily on the intersection of user interaction, software development and AI. The research for the Big Chemistry lab fits in seamlessly with this.
