K. (Karin) Dieleman
Karin Dieleman has a background in ICT and embedded systems. She gained experience as a software developer and team leader at various companies in the region. In 2017, she made the switch to education and applied research, and since then she has been active within the High Tech Embedded Software (HTES) research group at Fontys.
Within HTES, Karin has been involved in several research projects. One of these projects is Let's Move It, which investigated route planning software for autonomous robots in an industrial context.
Another project concerns the development of a digital twin using the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) – an emerging technology that enables interoperability and data sharing between chain partners and has the potential to become an industry standard.
Karin is currently focusing on research into the concept of digital product passports and related enabling technologies, which aim to manage product lifecycle data in a transparent and sustainable manner.
