How to apply
Application deadline - Intake September 2025
For the course starting in September 2025, the application deadline is set on 1 August 2025.
Your application in 4 steps:
1. Submit an application.
As of 1 October 2024 you will be able to find the application form here.
2. Submit your enrolment documents.
As of 1 October 2024 you will be able to submit your documents through the admission form that will be published here.
The documents that will need to be submitted are:
- Copy of a valid ID or passport.
- Diploma in the original language and a certified translation into Dutch, English or German
- Final transcript of records in the original language and a certified translation into Dutch, English or German
- Proof of English proficiency as mentioned in the admission requirements. The language certificates that are accepted are mentioned in the application form. All certificates must be obtained at a test center and cannot be taken online.
- Evidence or current employment near Venlo.
- Proof of employment
Upload the required admission documents and identification documents digitally through the admission form. The diploma validation might take up to four weeks. You will receive a notification of the outcome as soon as available.
3. Complete the payment of the tuition fees.
Once you have received the information that you are admissible, you will receive a Payment Agreement in which we ask you to how you would like to pay the tuition fees to Fontys.
4. Show us your original diploma including the list of transcripts upon arrival in the Netherlands. An appointment will be necessary to show these documents and can be made through this link.

- A valid residence permit for the Netherlands, Germany or Belgium that will allow you to study in the Netherlands. Please note that Fontys is not able to apply for a visa for you as this is a parttime study program.
- Diploma in the original language and a certified translation into Dutch, English or German
- Final transcript of records in the original language and a certified translation into Dutch, English or German
- Proof of English proficiency as mentioned in the admission requirements. The language certificates that are accepted are mentioned in the application form. All certificates must be obtained at a test center and cannot be taken online.
- Proof of employment
