Experience Days & Student for a Day
Want to experience what studying at Fontys is really like? Many of our programmes offer an Experience Day or the option to become a Student for a Day.
You’ll join real classes, meet students and teachers, and visit our campus. Experience Days are group events with workshops and activities, while Student for a Day gives you a more personal view by following a current student in class.
Both are great ways to find out which programme suits you best.

You can register for an Open Day, online information session or webinar directly on this page. Just find the study programme that interests you and click the registration button. After signing up, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all event details and links.
Absolutely! Most of our online sessions and webinars are designed for international students. You can join from anywhere in the world. All you need is an internet connection. We also have a ready-to-watch online information session about studying at Fontys that you can watch.
Open Days take place on campus - a great way to explore our buildings, labs and atmosphere in person. Online sessions and webinars are live, interactive events where you can meet teachers and students, ask questions, and learn about specific programmes or student life.
Yes, all our events - on campus or online - are completely free of charge. You only need to register online to reserve your spot.
Of course! Parents are welcome to join - especially our webinars about study choice and studying in the Netherlands, which include practical info about housing, costs and safety.
Not really - just bring your curiosity! For online events, check your time zone and make sure your internet and sound work properly.
