Tips

Before you start your studies at Fontys, you must find a place to live. Fontys does not have its own student halls, but we work with trusted landlords and housing agencies to help students during their first semester or year.

You can apply for accommodation through Fontys if:

  • you live abroad,
  • you are applying for an English-taught programme, and
  • you have a non-Dutch previous education.

Exception: students from the Caribbean part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands may also apply, even if they have a Dutch secondary school diploma.

Important to know

  • Applying via Fontys does not guarantee you a room.
  • Applications are only possible before the deadline.
  • You must complete your admission process as soon as possible to qualify. See the terms and conditions for details.
  • Finding housing is your own responsibility. If you cannot arrange suitable accommodation, we strongly advise you not to travel to the Netherlands.
