Update C

Fontys gaat straks stapje voor stapje weer open. We volgen daarbij steeds de richtlijnen van het RIVM, de ministeries en de hbo-sector. We hopen dat we na de zomervakantie weer naar onze werkplekken kunnen, maar misschien is er door ‘Corona’ wel permanent iets veranderd in onze keuzes en mogelijkheden om wel of niet naar de werklocatie te komen.

Kan ik weer werken op een Fontys-locatie?
Tot en met de zomerperiode geldt als hoofdregel: werk thuis. Fontys-panden zijn niet open voor reguliere, dagelijkse werkzaamheden. De komende tijd wordt duidelijk hoe het na de zomerperiode zal zijn.Toch zijn sinds 18 mei mondjesmaat gebouwen open voor studenten die moeten oefenen, zoals bijvoorbeeld bij de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, of voor studenten die afhankelijk zijn van laboratoria om hun studiejaar af te maken.

Extra uitzonderingen
Vanaf 15 juni komen er drie extra uitzonderingen voor het verrichten van werkzaamheden op een Fontys-locatie:

1. kennistoetsen en praktijklessen en -toetsen en alles wat daarbij hoort
2. je kunt thuis niet werken
3. functionele redenen

In alle gevallen geldt dat je je vooraf moet aanmelden als je naar de locatie wil komen, omdat we moeten kunnen vaststellen of er niet te veel mensen tegelijk op de locatie aanwezig zijn. Aanmelden loopt via je directeur. Vanzelfsprekend blijf je met Covid-klachten in elk geval thuis.

Andere werktijden, zomervakantie en reiskosten
Wil je meer weten over mogelijke inzet op andere tijden, de mogeljkheid dat op beperkte schaal je inzet in de zomervakantie nodig kan zijn en de vergoeding van eventueel te maken kosten om van je woonplaats naar je standplaats te komen, lees dan de informatie die hierover op de site van de dienst P&O is geplaatst. 

Voor de zomervakantie gaat het om de toegang tot onze gebouwen voor een beperkte groep. We zijn ons ervan bewust dat er bij medewerkers behoefte is aan duidelijkheid en perspectief. We volgen de ontwikkelingen in de maatschappij continue en kijken steeds – in lijn met het RIVM en het kabinet – waar we kunnen versoepelen. Fontys will reopen step by step. We will always follow the guidelines of the RIVM, the ministries and the higher professional education sector. We hope that we will be able to go back to our workplaces after the summer holidays, but perhaps because of 'Corona' something has changed permanently in our choices and possibilities of whether or not to come to the work location.

Can I work at a Fontys location again?
The main rule up to and including the summer period is: work from home. Fontys premises are not open for regular, daily activities. However, since May 18, buildings have been open to students who need to practice, such as at the School of the Arts, or students who depend on laboratories to complete their academic year.

Additional exceptions
From June, 15 there will be three additional exceptions for performing work at a Fontys location: knowledge tests and practical lessons and tests and everything that goes with it, you can't work at home, functional reasons. In all cases, you must register in advance if you want to come to the location, because we need to be able to determine whether too many people are present at the location at the same time. Registration runs through your director. It goes without saying that you will stay at home with Covid complaints in any case.

Different working hours, summer holidays and travel costs
If you would like to know more about possible deployment at other times, the possibility that your deployment may be required on a limited scale during the summer holidays and the reimbursement of any costs incurred to get from your place of residence to your place of employment, please read the information posted on the site of the P&O service.

For the summer holidays it concerns access to our buildings for a limited group. We are aware that employees need clarity and perspective. We continuously monitor developments in society and always look - in line with the RIVM and the cabinet - for ways in which we can relax.
