Update Fontys for society - december 2022

Begin 2021 presenteerden we onze strategie: Fontys for society. De ambities voor de periode tot 2025 zijn daarmee helder en duidelijk. Maar daarmee zijn we er nog niet, natuurlijk. Om deze ambities te realiseren  - en dus om daadwerkelijk een talentgericht, onderzoekend en wendbaar Fontys te worden - moeten en willen we nog stappen zetten. Met enige regelmaat neemt het college van bestuur strategische besluiten die de realisatie van de ambities dichterbij brengen. Deze besluiten hebben niet zelden ook gevolgen voor vrijwel iedereen binnen onze gemeenschap - zéker voor studenten en docenten.  Daarom publiceren we vanaf begin 2022 iedere maand een ‘update’, met daarin aandacht voor de context waarin en de overwegingen op basis waarvan het college van bestuur belangrijke strategische beslissingen neemt. Hier rechts bovenaan de pagina vind je de meest recente update (bij ‘downloads’).

Early in 2021 we presented our strategy: Fontys for society. This makes our ambitions for the period up to 2025 clear. But that is not all, of course. In order to realize these ambitions - and therefore to actually become a talent-oriented, research-oriented and flexible Fontys - we must and want to take further steps. The Executive Board regularly takes strategic decisions that bring the realization of these ambitions closer. Not infrequently, these decisions also have consequences for virtually everyone in our community - certainly for students and teachers. That is why, starting in early 2022, we will publish a monthly "update," focusing on the context in which and the considerations on the basis of which the Executive Board makes important strategic decisions.
