Embedded systems engineering is a very exciting field of engineering where devices capable of interacting with the “real world” are designed and programmed.
What you learn in this study program is related to Electronic engineering but aims at becoming an Embedded systems engineer who knows what is inside a computer but who is also capable to control machines connected to the computer.
Embedded systems are computer systems that cannot be programmed by the user because they are pre-programmed for a specific task and are buried within the equipment they serve.
As a student you learn about programming, operating systems but also knowledge of hardware and electronics is essential.
