1. Is part of the course fee refunded if I decide not to complete the full course?
A 100% refund of the course fee is only granted if a written cancellation is received up to 5 days before the starting date of the course. After this date, no course fees are refunded.
Should the participant drop out of the course, there is no refunding of course fees either.
2. Can course fees be paid in instalments?
Course fees over € 500 can be paid in two instalments. This applies only to courses with a duration of 7 weeks and longer.
Certificates
1. Do participants receive a certificate after completion of the course?
If the participant is present for 80% or more of the lessons, a certificate of attendance is granted.
2. Are these certificates recognized abroad?
No, our courses are not concluded with an officially recognized exam.
The IELTS-exam is an exception. This exam is held by an official organisation and the certificate you receive from the British Language and Training Centre is recognized abroad.
Course information
1. What is the closing date for registering?
In principle, the starting date of the course is the closing date. The risk the participant takes is that books or other materials (if inclusive) may not be available yet.
2. Are all courses offered each spring and autumn?
No, not all courses are started twice a year. Please check the course information for the next starting date.
3. Where can I find the lesson schedule?
The lesson schedule is given under the course information. See courses, select the appropriate course and you will find all the relevant information in a column on the right-hand side.
4. Should I purchase the course books myself or does Fontys Language Centre see to that?
For each course, it is stated whether it is including or excluding course books. If exclusive, then you need to purchase the books yourself. If inclusive, Fontys Language Centre sees to that.
