Brabant is an economically thriving region. It is attracting many international companies, research institutes,
knowledge workers and international students. This is the result of joint efforts of stakeholders such as: development agencies, governmental organizations, businesses, R&D institutes and universities.
In this course we will look at the initiatives and actions which should be taken in the process of building a region where international talent chooses to live, work, study, consume or invest.
Objective
This course aims to develop knowledge and competences for students to fulfill a future rol as International Business Consultant in a global competing market for investors, knowledge and talent.
Structure
The consists of a series of classes with an exam (week 8) and a research assignment (week 15).
Classes:
The following themes will be given attention to in the classes: Employer Branding; Regional Branding; Nation Branding; Branding the European Area; International labor law and Dual Career Development.
Research assignment:
Students will be assigned to do a research project / case study on the issue of regional branding.
