Dutch, a Germanic language, is spoken everywhere in the county. Many Dutch speak at least two foreign languages with nearly everyone understanding and speaking English.

Religion
The Dutch make up a colourful society, full of cultural and ethnic variety. Many religions are present due to immigrants coming from various parts of the globe.
The prominent religious groups consist of Protestants and Roman Catholics, although more than one third of the Dutch do not consider themselves to belong to any specific denomination.
