Both the work placement and the graduation project are major parts of the bachelor programs. During the 5th semester all FIHE students have to do a work placement project. In their 8th semester all student absolve a graduation project. The duration of these internships needs to be at least 3,5 months and can last up to 6 months. Both projects need to be at a company and department that fit their study program. During the internship the students work on a specific existing assignment which was defined beforehand by the company as a problem to be solved.
Temporary opportunities: Project “Professionals for the future”. This project is subsidized by the Dutch government and concentrates on Dutch companies from Limburg and Noord-Brabant that want to develop new businesses in China, India, the Ukraine, or Germany.
