General information about the FIHE INTRO WEEK 2012
The FIHE Intro week is a four-day festival before the actual studies start in the beginning of September. All new students starting in
2012 are invited to participate!
You will get to know your future classmates and other fellow students, explore the city of Venlo and celebrate the start of your student
life together with them. And of course, you will experience some nights to remember!
Here we will present the Introduction week itself, our team and keep you informed about what's going on with the FIHE Intro!
Additionally new students and staff (parents, gamesupervisors, jokers) get the possibility to register for the week.
This year's FIHE Intro week will take place from Tuesday, August 21 until Friday, August 24.
400 students, including you, will participate at the Intro in groups of 15 to 20 students. You are the “children” and two other students
that already study at Fontys will be your “parents”. They will try to answer every question you have a give you a great start in your student
life.
You’ll be in groups with students that don’t necessarily study the same course as you do. You’ll spend a lot of time with your
classmates later on so for that time you can hang out with different people. On Tuesday, when you arrive, you’ll explore the campus together with all the other students. Some of the docents will introduce the
study courses to you. Additionally, we’ll show you around and you’ll experience the campus in a way you will never forget.
The IF-Team (the Intro week for all other study courses offered at Fontys) developed a program for Wednesday where you can
experience the city of Venlo.
The Thursday will give you a great opportunity to meet even more of the new students while attending the games and a competition
we created for you.
For the evening, the IF-Team organises an awesome party where all students that start Fontys (FIHE and IF) in September can attend,
as well as current and alumni students.
